No. 1 Jannik Sinner and No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz meet again in another chapter of their storied rivalry. Just over a month after tussling for the title at Roland-Garros, the world’s top two male tennis players will square off at Center Court in Wimbledon for another trophy.
Sinner came to the brink of elimination at one point in this tournament in his round-of-16 showdown with Grigor Dimitrov. However, his opponent suffered a partial pectoral tear, forcing him to retire. Sinner cruised through his next opponents, Blake Shelton and Novak Djokovic, to secure a spot in the final.

Alcaraz has seen his share of blowouts and nail-biters on his run, sweeping Oliver Tarvet in the second round and Cameron Norrie in the quarterfinal. He saw at least four sets against Fabio Fognini, Jan-Lennard Struff, Andrey Rublev and Taylor Fritz.
The Spaniard holds an 8-4 advantage over Sinner in their previous head-to-head matches, including their French Open barn-burner in June. Alcaraz is looking for his sixth Grand Slam title, while Sinner seeks his fourth.
Although Alcaraz has the upper hand over Sinner throughout their matches, Sinner has a victory over Alcaraz at Wimbledon. The pair faced off in the round of 16 in 2022, with Sinner emerging victorious.
