San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir is a talented player on the field who’s just been handsomely rewarded for his performance. He’s also developed a reputation for being one hell of a trash-talker, and that’s only going to be enhanced further following his reaction to DK Metcalf’s trade request.
Lenoir said in an Instagram Live stream that he doesn’t want Metcalf to leave. Naturally you’d think the follow-up diss would be about thinking Metcalf is easy for him to defend. Nope. He aimed his trash-talk at Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
“How am I going to have fun out there?” Lenoir said. “Njigba be crying all day. That’s all he do is cry. ‘Ref he holding. He holding ref. Oh no don’t hurt me.’ Crybaby.
“I’m not worried about JSN. He know that.”
#49ers Deommodore Lenoir went on IG Live to react to DK Metcalf trade request and called out #Seahawks WR Jaxson Smith-Njigba

I don’t really have anything much to add to this amusing story other than this video of Kenneth Walker showing up Lenoir and sending him to the ground with authority.
Curious why Lenoir would take exception to being blocked by Walker well before the whistles blow and decide to take a cheap shot after the play when Walker is not even looking. U mad bro? pic.twitter.com/ShMVQQLyCv

And here’s “crybaby” Jaxon Smith-Njigba with a one-handed catch over Lenoir on Thanksgiving night back in 2023.
See you in September (or whenever the first Seahawks-49ers game is), Deommodore!
