Florence Pugh Rocks See-Through Black Lace Gown at ‘Thunderbolts’ Premiere

Florence Pugh is a vision in black!

The Thunderbolts actress turned heads in a stunning sheer black lace gown on Tuesday, April 22, at the U.K. premiere of the new Marvel Studios movie.

Pugh, 29, stepped onto the London red carpet in a fashionable floor-length dress with spaghetti straps, a dramatic train and floral detailing accentuating the lace.

The actress wore her short hair slicked back and wore orange eyeshadow to give her look a pop of color.

Florence Pugh is not only a skilled actress but a fearless style star. Through the years, Pugh has graced Us with memorable fashion moments — some of which she’s made headlines for. In July 2022, the British actress nailed the Barbiecore trend when she attended the Valentino Haute Couture fashion show in a hot pink […]

Pugh was joined at the event by her Thunderbolts costars, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Geraldine Viswanathan, Wyatt Russell and Lewis Pullman.

The British starlet’s latest see-through look comes three years after dazzling — and shocking — fans in a nipple-baring pink tulle dress at a Valentino Haute Couture show in July 2022.

After receiving criticism for her daring look, Pugh took to Instagram to shut down the body-shamers.

“Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it. Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing,” the actress captioned photos of herself in the outfit. “I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn’t before, during or even now after.”

Florence Pugh has never been afraid to call out unattainable Hollywood beauty standards throughout her career. In 2019, Pugh famously hit back at a review that compared the size of her thighs to those of the WWE pro Saraya Jade Bevis (a.k.a. Paige), who she portrayed in the movie Fighting With My Family. “Oh dear,” […]

Pugh went on to express her disappointment in people’s ability to “totally destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see.”

She continued: “It isn’t the first time and certainly won’t be the last time a woman will hear what’s wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what’s worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be.”

While Pugh found the commentary concerning, she asserted that she wouldn’t be made to feel ashamed of her physique.

“Thankfully, I’ve come to terms with the intricacies of my body that make me, me. I’m happy with all of the ‘flaws’ that I couldn’t bear to look at when I was 14,” the Little Women star added in her social media post. “So many of you wanted to aggressively let me know how disappointed you were by my ‘tiny tits’, or how I should be embarrassed by being so ‘flat chested.’ I’ve lived in my body for a long time. I’m fully aware of my breast size and am not scared of it.”
