Lil Uzi Vert has been hospitalized in New York City after becoming sick at a Manhattan hotel.

The health ordeal took place Monday afternoon as paramedics reported to the scene in response to an EMS call made on behalf of a “sick person” in Lower Manhattan, TMZ said.

The “Just Wanna Rock” rapper, who was born and raised in Philadelphia and identifies as nonbinary, was captured on footage being transported out of the lobby of the luxury building on a gurney and loaded into an ambulance around 2:30 p.m.

To uphold privacy, security guards held up a flurry of black umbrellas to block onlookers.

The eyewitness on the scene also told TMZ that the 29-year-old’s longtime girlfriend and rapper JT was present and was by their side. It’s unclear who called for medical help.

Details of Vert’s condition or why they were transported are unknown at this time.

The celebrity news outlet also reported that the rapper was conscious when they wheeled them out and placed them into an the ambulance. He was confirmed to be taken to the emergency room and was kept overnight.
