Inter coach Simone Inzaghi to make six changes ahead of semi-final clash against Milan

It seems that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has set his priority and focus towards clinching the scudetto and a possible berth of a Champions League final in Munich as the former Lazio boss prepares to make drastic rotations.

FcInter1908 reports that former Genoa goal-keeper Josep Martinez will start in between the sticks ahead of Yann Sommer. In front of him, Stefan De Vrij will replace Francesco Acerbi and Yan Aurel Bisseck will occupy the right-hand spot of Frenchman Benjamin Pavard.

Alessandro Bastoni and Hnerikh Mkhitaryan will remain heavily involved in the Milan derby given that two players will have to serve a one-match ban over the weekend against Roma after accumulating too many yellow cards.

Kristjan Asllani is to serve as the deep-lying midfielder in favour of Hakan Calhanoglu alongside Nicolo Barella in the three-man midfield, perhaps serving as the penultimate opportunity to prove that the Albanian international merits a spot with the Nerazzurri next season.

Italian wing-back Federico Dimarco is in pole over Carlos Augusto to start on the left-hand flank as at the moment, the Brazilian is in seemingly better form and will be rested for the storm of fixtures ahead.

Finally, former Porto marksman Mehdi Taremi will most-likely be handed the start over Joaquin Correa after the Argentine’s abysmal display at the Stadio Dall’Ara, along-side skipper Lautaro Martinez in the front-two.

The Iranian international’s cameo straight from kick-off could turn the tide of his underwhelming debut season as a Nerazzurri and could potentially convince the board to remain at the San Siro beyond next season.
