  3. Thanks Matt. Gosh, you know it’s early when we’re getting messages from Australia…
  4. Anyway, plenty of Manchester United fans follow this live so let’s ask them. Trophies but inconsistent in the league, or high league finishes but hardly any titles?
  5. In fact, it doesn’t really matter who you support. Get contributing anyway.

  7. Arteta won something in his first season with a very average side, and now gets consistently into the champions league with a strong team playing good football. I know it hasn’t landed a cabinet of trophies yet but I know which I prefer, and dare I say ask any United fan what they’d prefer.
  8. FT: Arsenal 2-2 Crystal Palace
  9. Having cup games in their mind, both Arsenal and Crystal Palace rested some of their key players for their midweek Premier League meeting.
  10. Mikel Arteta only named Bukayo Saka on the bench after the Arsenal forward came off with a knock in the win over Ipswich Town.
  11. Ben White or Mikel Merino missed out from the squad altogether.
  12. In injured Merino’s absence, Leandro Trossard played in the central striking role and bagged their second goal.
  13. Oliver Glasner, meanwhile, did not start Palace’s key attackers Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ismaila Sarr on the bench with the FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa coming up on Saturday.

  18. Crystal Palace twice came from behind to draw at second-placed Arsenal and leave Liverpool one point from being crowned Premier League champions for the second time in six seasons.
  19. A draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday (16:30 BST) would now be enough for Arne Slot’s side, who lead Arsenal by 12 points, to clinch their 20th league title – equalling Manchester United’s record.
  20. Both Arsenal and Palace’s main focus is on their cup exploits, with the Gunners in the Champions League semi-finals and the Eagles at the same stage in the FA Cup – and both managers rested key players.

  24. Yep, we’re doing faces on the live again. Apologies to everyone who’ll have to look at me until 4pm.
  25. That said, today’s Get Involved theme will definitely not be on my poor choice of haircuts.
  26. Instead, I’d quite like it if we focused on Mikel Arteta. At what point do we start calling him a nearly-man, if at all?
  27. And, is it Champions League or bust to save Arsenal’s season?

  30. Hello! So much to talk about this morning.
  31. Arsenal drew again
  32. Liverpool are one point from the title.
  33. Crystal Palace ended their mini slump as they prepare for the FA Cup semi-finals.
  34. Should be a fun shift. Can’t wait to see where we go with today’s live.
