Bryce James confesses that his father LeBron helped him beat Bronny: ‘He trusts me’

LeBron James and son Bronny may be busy doing what they can to help the Los Angeles Lakers back to glory, but don’t forget that Bryce is also busy showing his skill on the court.

His Sierra Canyon School recently clinched the CIF State Division 1 title by defeating Lincoln 58-53, with Bryce adding his own accolade to his basketball resume.

What a mess! Lakers and Nuggets fans get involved in a brawl after a very tight NBA game

The win was by no means dominant, with Bryce chipping in with just three points, but that didn’t stop the entire James crew, including Savannah and Zhuri, from revelling in the accomplishment.

“My dad on the sideline, he’s always coaching me up, telling me what to do,” Bryce told the media after the game.

“Like, even if I’m how tonight was, I wasn’t making shots, but he just told me to keep shooting. And that just means he has confidence in me. And from now on, I will always have confidence in myself and so will my teammates.

Friendly rivalry within the family

The fact Bryce was able to lift the state championship trophy is quite the accomplishment, as brother Bronny wasn’t able to.

When asked about that, Bryce did what any good brother would do – he played down the comparison, showing that while there may be a friendly rivalry between the two, there is no ill will.

There was no doubt over when LeBron made his appearance at the Golden 1 Center, as fans stood on their feet when King James walked in.

He later took to social media to show how proud he was with Bryce’s accomplishment.

“YESSIR!!! So proud of you and CONGRATULATIONS @justbryce,” LeBron wrote, before adding: “STATE CHAMP.”

It’s a great way for Bryce to say goodbye to Sierra Canyon in what was his final game for the team before joining the Arizona Wildcasts basketball program.
