2025 NCAA Tournament Field of 68 teams, March Madness bracket revealed

The NCAA Tournament Selection Show is finally here, as the top teams in college basketball wait to hear whether their name is called. Meanwhile, fans await the announcement of when, where and who they will face in the opening weekend.

The Selection Committee evaluates the overall body of work of each team, splitting them into 31 automatic bids and 37 at-large bids. From there, they use the NET rankings, eye test and more to determine where each team should be placed in the field.

The NCAA Tournament “bubble” refers to the teams on the edge of the field, which may or may not receive a bid. This season, that conversation features plenty teams from the high-major and mid-major level, waiting to see which resumes prevail.
