BOSTON — The Boston Celtics are on to the Eastern Conference semifinals after beating the Orlando Magic in Tuesday’s Game 5 at TD Garden, 120-89.
Jayson Tatum propelled the C’s to victory after their slow start, finishing with 35 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds. Jaylen Brown added 23 points and six rebounds.
Boston will meet the Detroit Pistons or New York Knicks in the next round. The Knicks lead that series 3-2 heading into Game 6, which is set for Thursday night.
