Record executive Wack 100 has talked about Adam22’s claim that he had been “picked up” by the FBI, just a day after the YouTuber teased a “crazy update” about the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) investigation involving high-profile figures including Big U, Luce Cannon and Bricc Baby.
Wack 100’s comments about Adam22 have set off a wave of speculation online about the No Jumper host’s legal status.
Adam22, whose real name is Adam Grandmaison, was reportedly absent from a scheduled broadcast this week, with Wack 100 alleging that federal agents had detained him following a cryptic Instagram post in which Adam22 said agents had come to his home.
“He was supposed to go live today, right? They came and got him this morning. They doubled back. We tried to have him out,” Wack said during a No Jumper episode, speaking to the podcast team by phone.
“I just called my attorney. Tryna to get him down there so Adam don’t be doing no telling, bro,” he said.
According to Sportskeeda, Adam22 uploaded a series of Instagram Stories on Tuesday saying the FBI had visited him to ask questions about his alleged connection to Big U amid his RICO case.
He wrote on Instagram: “I made it 41 years into this life before I had involvement, conversations with federal agents.”
According to The Express Tribune he said the agents asked about individuals involved in the RICO case, jokingly adding: “And when they showed up, I was wearing a red Nike tech.”
He teased a “crazy update” about the encounter, saying he had saved the story for the podcast rather than streaming it live.

No formal charges or confirmation of arrest have been made public as of March 27.
Wack 100 insisted that Adam22 was not in danger, saying he “ain’t got no nothing” and emphasized, “He ain’t no flight risk or nothing,” HotNewHipHop reported.
The RICO case in question has drawn attention for its ties to Eugene Henley Jr., better known as Big U. Henley has been charged with racketeering, fraud, extortion and murder. Federal authorities allege he ran a criminal enterprise while presenting himself as a community anti-gang activist through his nonprofit, Developing Options. Prosecutors say he embezzled donations, submitted fraudulent pandemic relief applications and orchestrated the 2021 murder of a rapper referred to in court as “R.W.”
“The allegations in the complaint unsealed today reveal a criminal enterprise that engaged in murder, extortion, human trafficking, and fraud—all led by a supposed anti-gang activist and purported music entrepreneur who was nothing more than a violent street criminal,” Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph McNally said in a statement to Newsweek.
