(CNN) – Actor William Levy is out of jail after accusations he caused a disturbance in a South Florida restaurant.

Police arrested him Monday night after he refused their orders to leave.

He was booked into jail on trespassing and disorderly intoxication charges and spent the night there.

Levy bonded out Tuesday for $500.

The 44-year-old actor rose to fame mostly through Spanish telenovelas.

He competed on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2012 and has since appeared in English language films and television shows.
