Kane’s big UCL goal cancelled out by Martínez’s moment & former player 👀

Harry Kane stepped up just when Bayern Munich needed him, pulling them level in their Champions League quarter-final tie against Inter with the opener in the San Siro.

His joy, and landmark moment, lasted only a few minutes as Inter roared back with a moment of history, and a strike from a former Bayern player.

The England captain found the net in the 52nd minute with a fine low strike after fashioning a half-yard of space inside the box.

It made it 2-2, and was also his 40th in the competition, which have come in just 56 games. Only Erling Haaland and Ruud van Nistelrooy have hit that total in fewer.

However, Inter’s own main man put them back in charge shortly after, and made some club history in the process.

Lautoro Martínez was the quickest to react to a bouncing ball in the box, and smashed home to send the home fans wild and hit his 150th goal for Inter.

Former Bayern man Benjamin Pavard then flipped the game on its head, and put Inter within touching distance of the semi-finals.
