The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly losing an All-Pro piece of their offensive line. In exchange, Kansas City will reportedly get a fourth round draft pick in 2026. Rapoport said the Chiefs love Thuney, but they just can’t afford to pay everyone on their star-studded roster. This will free up money and move the team in a younger direction, as Thuney would be turning 33 and gearing up for a third contract. Thuney is one of the best guards in the league and showed versatility this year in Kansas City, playing left tackle in the back half of the season. The Bears are making key moves to strengthen their offensive line, prioritizing the protection of quarterback Caleb Williams. Chicago also picked up Los Angeles Rams guard Jonah Jackson. The deal won’t be official until the start of the league year on March 12.
