It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the Dutton family trying to keep it all together, which is somehow more unbelievable than Superman flying through the air. The 1923 finale airs this Sunday, and it’s apparently an “insane” ride, according to Brandon Sklenar. “I mean, I couldn’t even prep it because it would just make me so emotional reading it,” he told People. “Even thinking about it, I get emotional.” As for what’s confirmed for the finale, Paramount+ released the logline for the episode as “Jacob and his crew eagerly await Spencer’s return at the train station. Teonna has a fateful run in. Alexandra braves the cold.” Which, at face value, isn’t as exciting as Sklenar’s describing but surely the description is just trying to avoid any big spoilers on the Dutton family’s fate. Here’s how to enjoy the cinematic experience of 1923.
It’s two hours, a.k.a. longer than all of these movies in theaters right now: A Minecraft Movie, Drop, Snow White, and A Working Man. Maybe there should be an IMAX screening of this bad boy.
It’s out on Paramount+ on Sunday, April 6, at midnight ET / Saturday, April 5 at 9 p.m. for the West Coasters.
