Tennessee football closes spring practice with the Orange and White spring game on Saturday, April 12 at Neyland Stadium.
Nico Iamaleava’s sudden departure after a reported NIL re-negotiation has cast a shadow over the end of spring football. The Vols’ starting quarterback last season will enter the transfer portal when the spring window opens on April 16.
Without Iamaleava, the focus will be on young quarterbacks Jake Merklinger and George MacIntyre in Josh Heupel’s offensive system.
The spring game will not be televised or streamed on any broadcast platform, so only the fans inside the limited-capacity Neyland Stadium (down to 45,000 due to renovations) will get to see an early view of the 2025 Vols.
