Something epic is going to happen on Day 2 of WrestleMania 41. I’m not saying that in the same sense or framework normally associated with professional wrestling’s biggest showcase.
I believe the second night of WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is going to be the scene of something that is remembered as one of the most memorable moments in WWE history.
What will that be? I’m not entirely sure, but expect something groundbreaking considering it is John Cena’s last-ever WrestleMania appearance. Here’s all the viewing information you need to catch Day 2 of WrestleMania 41 as well as the entire confirmed card.
WrestleMania 41 Night Two Card at 7pm ET on April 20 on Peacock
- Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
- WWE Women’s World Championship: Triple Threat – Iyo Sky (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair
- Women’s Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
- Intercontinental Championship Fatal Four-Way: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta vs. Finn Bálor
- Sin City Street Fight: Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre
- AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
- Randy Orton vs. ???
The match order for the second night of WrestleMania hasn’t been set, but the confirmed card is above. On Friday’s episode of Smackdown, Orton announced he will be in action as he issued an open challenge to someone willing to step up and face him.
It was cool to add a bit of intrigue around Orton’s opponent, but I have a hard time believing it’ll produce something that delivers from an action or story standpoint.
I hope I’m wrong, but Orton was supposed to take on Kevin Owens before a neck injury pushed the latter out of action.
Pardon my wrestling brain, but there is something that makes me wonder if Owens will make some sort of appearance at WrestleMania 41. While I believe his neck injury is legit, he hasn’t yet had the surgery according to recent reports.
Could he be booked to lure Orton into a trap so that allows someone else to attack The Viper? That could potentially set up Orton’s feud heading into Backlash, which is in his hometown of St. Louis.
Orton is on the premium live event poster, so it stands to reason he will be a major part of that event.
There’s also a possibility that Orton could face an upstart from NXT. He’s such a professional, I doubt he’d want to risk having a poor match at WrestleMania, so we’ll see.
It would seem Orton would want to be comfortable with the chemistry between him and his opponent.
Perhaps after Day 1, we may have a clearer picture about Orton’s presence at Day 2 of WrestleMania 41. In case you’re wondering about the match card for Day 1.
Here it is:
