JBL took to social media to blast WWE for giving El Grande Americano a WWE WrestleMania match over Chad Gable.
In a recent post on X, Layfield — better known as JBL — said that they had to do something about Americano. JBL then said that the superstar was coming in and “taking our jobs.” He then finished the post with a hashtag of “justice for Chad,” a reference to the fact that Gable will be “missing” WrestleMania.

Of course, it does seem like all points to Gable being the mysterious El Grande Americano. On the March 10th episode of WWE RAW, a mysterious masked luchador appeared and cost the LWO a match against New Day. While many thought Gable was the man behind the mask, his “innocence” was proven later in the show.
The luchador was seemingly apprehended while Gable was interviewed backstage. During the March 17th episode of WWE RAW, the masked man appeared again. He attacked Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee again after their match against Brutus and Julius Creed.
Since then, Americano has continued to appear during shows. Eventually, Rey Mysterio had had enough and got a match made between the pair at WrestleMania 41.
