Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s daughter Daisy watched with awe as the pop star returned to earth from space on the historic Blue Origin flight.
It’s the first time most fans are seeing Daisy — Bloom and Perry typically are very protective of their child’s privacy. Though both often gush about parenthood, they don’t share photos of Daisy’s face on their social media..

“My mama!” Daisy, wearing a mini astronaut’s outfit, can be heard exclaiming in a video posted by Space.com.
Fans have seen glimpses of Daisy before; the camera briefly panned to her at her mother’s concert in Las Vegas. But in general, Perry and Bloom carefuly protect their daughter from the spotlight.
After landing back on earth, Perry told a reporter, “I feel super connected to love,” in a video interview posted to the YouTube page of Blue Origin.
“So connected to love — I think this experience has shown me, you never know how much love is inside of you, like, how much love you have to give and how loved you are, until the day you launch,” said Perry.
With tears in her eyes, Perry held a special symbol she carried on the rocket, for her daughter: A daisy flower.
“Daisy is a common flower, but they grow through any condition — they grow through cement, they grow through cracks, they grow through walls, they are resilient,” said Perry. “They are powerful, they are strong, they are everywhere.”
Perry said she ranks her space flight, “Second to being a mom.”
“That’s why it was hard for me to go, because that’s all my love right there,” explained Perry. “And I have to surrender and trust that the universe is going to take care of me and protect me and also my family and my daughter.”
Perry added, “To go to space is incredible and I wanted to model courage and worthiness and fearlessness.”
