Columbus Crew vs Inter Miami attendance cracks 60k in Cleveland

CLEVELAND – The Crew announced an attendance of 60,614 for their matchup against Inter Miami at Huntington Bank Field on April 19.

Technically a home game for the Crew despite being nearly 150 away from Columbus, the mark sets an attendance record for a Crew matchup. The number failed to break the top-20 most attended MLS regular-season games.

Columbus moved the game from Lower.com Field to Huntington Bank Field, the home of the Cleveland Browns, due to the draw of Miami forward Lionel Messi. The Browns are owned by Dee and Jimmy Haslam, who also own the Crew.

The announced attendance is over 40,000 more than Lower.com Field’s 20,371 capacity.
