Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair

Tiffany Stratton defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41 in a heated match that was helped by how completely invested Allegiant Stadium was. Fans wanted no part of a Charlotte Flair win, and chanted “Tiffy Time” with a sense of urgency.
Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton took a lackluster feud and doused it with tension in the span of one shoot promo.
Flair and Stratton’s rivalry quickly became less about a wrestling match, and more about what the two women represent in the landscape of women’s wrestling and wrestling in general. Wrestling fans, who are often monolithic in their online discourse about Flair, felt Stratton was in danger of Flair “burying” the rising star with another title win. Flair’s heated promos alongside Stratton saw the veteran repeatedly cut off Tiffany, to the point where Stratton brought up Charlotte’s poor bedside manner in a backstage promo.
Despite the awkward journey to this match, Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton created a babyface vs. heel dynamic that is hard to come by given how jaded modern wrestling fans have become.
Everything That Happened In Tiffany Stratton Vs. Charlotte Flair
Tiffany Stratton had the best entrance of the night to this point, walking out of a toy box inspired by Barbie. Given the rise in toy prices due to the tariffs, I an only imagine how much WWE paid for that box.
Not to be outdone (though she was), Charlotte Flair came out second after driving up in a Rolls Royce. A ton of heat for Charlotte Flair, who was booed just as loudly as Tiffany Stratton was cheered.
Charlotte quickly took control of the match to the tune of even louder boo’s. Charlotte slapped on a scissor stomp. Fans who love Stephanie Vaquer (and don’t remember Madison Rayne) jeered the Queen for apparent copyright infringement. Charlotte remained in control with a Boston Crab. Stratton countered the Crab, but for a one count.
Tiffany came back like a Malibu Barbie House afire. Stratton missed her patented backflip elbow into the corner, but kept her foot on the gas, crashing on Charlotte for a nearfall. Charlotte finally cut off Tiffy’s comeback with a stiff big boot.
Charlotte and Stratton brawled in the center of the ring, but got mixed up during a Stratton running clothesline against the rope. Stratton simply attempted the move again with success.
Flair knocked down Stratton, but Stratton blocked a moonsault attempt twice. Stratton missed a big boot and ate a spinebuster. Flair tried a cross body for a nearfall.
Flair worked over Stratton’s leg, and even after battling back, Stratton sold her leg injury after a BME. Charlotte tried to capitalize, but Stratton headed right back up the ropes, only to take a front suplex. Fans gasped every time it seemed Charlotte was going to win.
The two rivals slapped each other, and Charlotte missed a spear in the corner. Stratton hit a rolling crucifix followed by a BME for the win. This was a good, but not great, match that was helped by the amount of heat it had.
