NBA PLAYOFFS
The 2025 NBA playoffs continue Sunday, with some top contenders taking their first step into the postseason fray.
The Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics — the three teams to break the 60-win barrier in the NBA regular season standings — will all open their best-of-seven series against teams that came through the play-in tournament. The top-seeded Thunder start off against the Memphis Grizzlies, while the Western Conference action will also include game 1 in the series between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors.
Over in the East, the Miami Heat pulled off two play-in rounds, setting the final team to get into the postseason up with a shot at No. 1 seed Cleveland. Another play-in survivor, the Orlando Magic, face a tough assignment as they take on the defending champion Celtics.
