Top-tier defensive prospects will be in Green Bay, too. In addition to Hunter, Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter also could land in the top five picks, and he’ll be joined at the draft by three more members of arguably the strongest position group in this year’s class, defensive line. Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart and Georgia’s Mykel Williams are two young, athletically gifted pass-rush talents, and Michigan DT Mason Graham is arguably the draft’s best interior defender.
The list of confirmed draft attendees features some potential blue-chip talents at linebacker (Alabama’s Jihaad Campbell) and in the secondary, with two of the best talents at their respective positions, Michigan CB Will Johnson and Georgia S Malaki Starks.
The draft will begin with Round 1 on April 24, followed by Rounds 2-3 on April 25 (7 p.m. ET) and Rounds 4-7 on April 26 (12 p.m. ET).
