April 20, often dubbed 4/20 Day or Weed Day, has long been observed as an unofficial holiday for cannabis enthusiasts. While marijuana brands mark the occasion with discounts on THC- and CBD-infused products, several national restaurant chains are also rolling out pun-filled, snack-heavy deals in honor of the day.
Jimmy John’s 4/20 day deal
Jimmy John’s has introduced a limited-time “Toasted Hot Combo” — or THC — Box, which includes a toasted sandwich, Jimmy Chips, a sweet treat and a Jimmy Pickle spear. The price varies depending on the sandwich selection.
Red Lobster 4/20 day deal
Red Lobster is leaning into the 4/20 celebration with a $4.20 cocktail dubbed the “Side Hustle by Dre + Snoop,” made with Still G.I.N., a spirit from music moguls Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. The drink is blended with orange, pineapple and guava and served with a side of Skittles, said to be Snoop’s favorite munchie. The cocktail is available at select locations through the week.
Hostess 4/20 day deal
Snack brand Hostess is taking its treats on the road with a “Munchie Mobile,” scheduled to serve Ding Dongs, Donettes and Twinkies across New Jersey on April 18 and 19, and in New York on April 20. Fans can find the full itinerary on the Hostess Snacks Instagram page.
Buffalo Wild Wings 4/20 day deal
Buffalo Wild Wings is offering multiple 4/20 deals for members of its loyalty program. Rewards members can get a free sandwich with a $15 purchase or 10 free boneless wings with a $20 order. The offers are valid through April 30 but can only be used once and cannot be combined.
Insomnia Cookies 4/20 day deal
Insomnia Cookies is offering $4.20 off a Deluxe six-pack through April 20 with code GOODSTUFF. The chain is also offering free local delivery on orders over $15 with the code GARDENING. In stores, customers can receive a mini flowerpot keychain — a nod to cannabis culture — with purchases while supplies last. The company has also introduced a new Garden Collection featuring limited-time cookie flavors like Lemon White Chocolate and Carrot Cake Filled.
Popeyes 4/20 day deal
Meanwhile, Popeyes has launched a Munchies Menu available exclusively on its app and website through April 20. Offerings include $4.20 sandwiches such as the new Pickle Glaze Chicken Sandwich, available for pickup or delivery.
