Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus took the world by surprise when they seemingly confirmed that they are in a relationship in a PDA-filled Easter post.
In the photo shared to Instagram April 20, Hurley and Cyrus—wearing a pair of bunny ears, in light of the holiday—lean against a wooden fence on a farm and share a kiss. Hurley captioned the post, simply, “Happy Easter” with a red heart emoji, and the post was set to the Elton John song “I’m Still Standing.”
Interestingly, Hurley might have hinted at their romance earlier this month—though none of us out of the loop were the wiser. On April 9, a bikini-clad Hurley shared a video of herself in the ocean in the Maldives to her Instagram, with the post set to Cyrus’ 1992 song “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore.” (Cyrus, though not in the video, liked the post.) “The most glorious sunset in the glorious Maldives,” Hurley wrote.
To that post, Hurley’s son Damian Hurley reacted with five red heart emojis; to his mom’s apparent hard launch with Cyrus yesterday, he used emojis again, this time commenting with “🥳♥️.”
Damian—who is Hurley’s only child, whom she shares with her late ex Steve Bing—and Cyrus follow one another on Instagram.
In the photo shared Sunday, Hurley wears a cowboy hat, braids, jeans, sunglasses, and a blue plaid flannel button down in a deep V-neck. It appears as though the two are on a farm—and Cyrus owns a farm in Tennessee, according to E! News.

Hurley and Cyrus have known one another for several years, according to the outlet, and starred together in the 2022 comedy film Christmas in Paradise. Hurley has had previous relationships with Bing, Hugh Grant, and Australian cricketer Shane Warne, and was married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2010. Cyrus was married to Tish Cyrus—with whom he shares kids Brandi, Trace, Miley, Braison, and Noah—for nearly 30 years before their divorce was finalized in 2022; his acrimonious divorce from singer Firerose was finalized eight months ago.
Perhaps foreshadowing her relationship with Cyrus, Hurley told Us Weekly last month of finding happiness, “I’d like to be in my own country house at home, but even if I go to somebody’s else’s, like in America and I go somewhere, I like nature. I really like getting out of cities when I’m feeling a bit, you know, that revs me up again.”

Hurley is extremely close to son Damian, and told Us Weekly that it was “ludicrously hard” to find balance as a working mom: “We try,” she told the outlet. “We all succeed in places, and we often feel like we fail in places. I made a decision…[that my son] was going to be my No. 1, which has been and remains so. When you’ve got a clear vision ahead, you’ll do whatever you can to try to make that happen.”
