Elizabeth Hurley‘s son Damian Hurley approves of the new man in her life.
Damian, 23, left a congratulatory comment in response to his mom’s tandem Sunday, April 20 Instagram post with Billy Ray Cyrus that showed the country singer planting a kiss on the side of the actress’s face as they lean against a wooden fence and a grassy backdrop.
“🥳♥️,” Damian wrote in a comment on the post. It’s unclear whether Damian, whom Elizabeth, 59, shares with businessman Steve Bing, spent time with his mother and the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, 63, on Easter Sunday, but Damian did share a photo of himself laying down shirtless and posed with a dog laying by his head. “Happy Easter 🐰♥️,” the actor and model wrote in a caption to that post.
A representative for Elizabeth did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment regarding her photo with Cyrus; a rep for Billy Ray declined to comment on the post. Prior to the surprise Easter Sunday photo, Elizabeth previously sparked speculation about a potential romance with Billy Ray when she used his song “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” in an April 9 Instagram post and tagged the singer in a photo of herself in a bikini.
“The most glorious sunset in the glorious Maldives 💗,” she wrote in a caption to that post.
Elizabeth and Cyrus’ apparent new relationship comes more than a decade after her 2011 divorce from businessman Arun Nayar, whom she married in 2007. Prior to marrying Nayar, she was in a relationship with Hugh Grant for 13 years. The pair split in 2000, but Grant remained in her life as a godfather to Damian. Elizabeth told PEOPLE in 2021 that she and Grant, 64, remain “extremely good friends” to this day.

Damian and Elizabeth’s supportive bond is not just as mother and son. Elizabeth starred in Damian’s 2024 directorial debut Strictly Confidential. Back in February 2024, Damian told PEOPLE that his mother “promised me she’d be in my first feature” when he was eight years old and that she “dropped everything and raced out to the Caribbean to help” when he got the movie greenlit.

Billy Ray was married to Tish Cyrus for 28 years before the pair decided to go their separate ways in April 2022. They share five children: daughters Miley, Noah and Brandi, as well as sons sons Trace and Braison. Billy Ray also shares son Christopher Cody with Kristen Luckey, whom he dated before meeting Tish.
Following Billy Ray’s divorce, the singer began dating singer Firerose around August 2022. The couple sparked engagement rumors when she posted a photo of herself wearing a diamond on her ring finger in September 2022 They tied the knot and divorced just months later in May 2024, when Billy Ray quietly filed for divorce after seven months of marriage.
