SAN FRANCISCO – It appears Reddit has been restored after more than 100,000 people reported an outage or glitches on Monday, according to the social media platform.
Reddit appeared to be down Monday, after thousands of users reported issues accessing the social media platform.

What we know:
Error reports began to increase at around 11 a.m. ET on Downdetector, an internet monitoring service. There was a spike of more than 101,800 errors reported for Reddit at 12 p.m. ET, according to Downdetector.
At 11:52 a.m. PT, Reddit wrote on X that they were investigating the situation, writing, “We are currently investigating elevated errors across http://reddit.com and the apps.”
The majority of consumers (59%) indicated that accessing the app was the problem. Some users cited an issue with the website (29%) and the server connection (12%).
Then, at 12:21 p.m., Reddit said the incident had been resolved.
What we don’t know:
There is still no confirmation as to the cause of the outage. FOX TV Stations reached out to Reddit for more information.
