Normani has some new motivation: a walk down the aisle.
The “Wild Side” singer is engaged to football wide receiver DK Metcalf, who shared the news as he celebrated his trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2025 NFL Draft.
“Shoutout to my beautiful fiancée for being here with me,” the 27-year-old said in a video posted on Instagram March 13. “Can’t wait to step onto the field with the rest of the Black and Gold Nation.”
The social media post also included two photos of the couple posing alongside a Steelers helmet, one of which featured a subtle glimpse at Normani’s engagement ring. But during a press conference the same day, DK (real name DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf) made sure to get all eyes on his bride-to-be’s new diamond, urging her to “hold that rock up, baby.”
Later in the presser, the athlete—who previously played for the Seattle Seahawks—also detailed how he popped the question to the Fifth Harmony alum.
“My family and her family was in Houston,” he told reporters, as seen in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter). “It was my sister’s spring break and [I] just thought about getting the whole family together for a big kumbaya and joining our families with a ring.”

Normani, 28, previously confirmed the relationship in July 2023 when she posted a photo on her Instagram Stories of DK kissing her on the cheek. The following year, she revealed she was introduced to her partner by none other than Ciara and husband Russell Wilson, who is the quarterback for the Steelers.
“We actually met through Ciara and Russ,” she told Ebro Darden during an Apple Music interview in June 2024. “If you could trust a couple [to set you up], that would be the couple.”
