Iga Swiatek just added another shiny trophy to her growing collection, winning her sixth Grand Slam in what might be the most dominant performance of her career so far. In the Wimbledon final, she barely broke a sweat as she took down Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 on Saturday.

It was a final so lopsided that it hadn’t happened at the All England Club in over a century. While Swiatek’s fans are celebrating her brilliance, it’s a day that Anisimova will probably want to forget, but tennis history likely won’t let her.

As pointed out on X, it’s the first time since 1911 that a Wimbledon finalist failed to win a game. Swiatek had a massive 55-24 edge in total points won in a match that took just 57 minutes. Anisimova had more errors (28) than points won.

Swiatek has been on fire this whole tournament, dropping just one set in seven matches. As for Anisimova, she’s still just 23 and this was her first Grand Slam final, so she’s got time to bounce back.

Iga Swiatek was knocked out of the French Open last month, losing 6-0 in the third set to Aryna Sabalenka. Now, just over a month later, she is Wimbledon champion for the first time.Susan Mullane-Imagn Images

Swiatek’s Wimbledon run was the perfect bounce-back after a couple of tough blows recently. She had a disappointing exit against Aryna Sabalenka in the French Open semis and got knocked out by Jessica Pegula in straight sets in the Bad Homburg final just weeks ago. Safe to say, this dominant Wimbledon win was one heck of a comeback for the former world No. 1.
