Covers.com: Bet the over on Nebraska team total

Chris Hatfield writes: “My strongest conviction about this tournament is plenty of points will be scored in the first round. You’ve got teams missing parts, teams with players that have gone on vacation and then come back, and coaches that have spent more time recruiting than game prep. That’s all conducive to an environment of something like an NBA All-Star game more so than a tournament game with NIL money at stake — at least early. Once the 300K prize becomes more of a reality (so, basically, the next round) and teams advance in the tournament, I expect the games to get a little more tightly played, but until then, I’ll back points.”

Action Network: Bet Nebraska to cover vs Arizona State

Bruce Marshall writes: “Nebraska has to be one of the favorites of this event after spending much of the season on the Big Dance cut line. Fred Hoiberg will be minus guard Rollie Worster (foot), but all-Big Ten guard Brice Williams (20 PPG) and forward Juwan Gary (14 PPG) have chances to end their college careers on high notes.”

Dimers.com: Nebraska 82, Arizona State 75

It writes: “After extensive simulations, our model gives Nebraska a win probability of 74%, while Arizona State has a win probability of 26%.”

Draft Kings: Bet Nebraska to cover against Arizona State

Dan Johnson writes: “While Arizona State can be dangerous on any given night, their inconsistency and Nebraska’s defensive superiority give the Cornhuskers the upper hand. Nebraska has shown they can hold teams under 74 points—something Arizona State has struggled to do consistently—and that’s where the Cornhuskers will capitalize. They’ll cover the 5.5-point spread, bouncing back from their recent loss to Iowa and making a strong statement in the first round of the Crown Tournament.”
