The Avengers are assembling again for Avengers: Doomsday, and Marvel is confirming the actors and superheroes appearing in the next installment.
Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Vanessa Kirby (Susan Storm), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), and Florence Pugh (Yelena) are some of the actors the studio has confirmed on their live stream.
Other actors set to appear in Doomsday include Tenoch Huerta (Namor), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Thing) and Kelsey Grammer (Beast).
The film also stars Lewis Pullman (Sentry), Danny Ramirez (Joaquín Torres / Falcon), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Winston Duke (M’Baku), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Tom Hiddleton (Loki), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier / Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), James Marsden (Cyclops), and Channing Tatum (Gambit).
Pedro Pascal (Mister Fantastic) was also confirmed to join the MCU.
Robert Downey Jr. made an appearance at the end of Marvel’s livestream.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.

Robert Downey Jr. will return to the MCU, but this time as Victor Von Doom, known as Doctor Doom, which was announced at Comic-Con last year.
With filming starting on the next installment of the Avengers saga, directors Joe and Anthony Russo are taking extra precautions to avoid spoilers.
“We’re pretty good about shutting that down,” Joe told Collider in an interview with Anthony, adding, “We’ve sort of strategized to hopefully be effective with that.”
For that reason, the Russo Brothers are filming in soundstages, and Joe admits, “We don’t want people getting photographs, so we are being pretty stringent.”
“The location work we are doing, we have picked those locations with that in mind, as well,” Anthony noted.
