TikTok meets Hollywood.
B.J. Novak and Delaney Rowe are officially dating, according to a People report published on Monday, April 28.
Novak, 45, and Rowe, 28, first sparked romance rumors after being photographed together at an event in New York City in November 2024.

A month later, Deuxmoi reported that the pair looked cozy at the Bowery Hotel, also in New York City, with a source telling the anonymous blogger that Rowe was “kind of blushing” in Novak’s presence.
Prior to People’s report, a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, about the couple started going viral. “I just found out [B.J. Novak] is dating that annoying [TikTok] actress,” the person wrote above a photo of Rowe and Novak.
In fairness, Rowe’s rise to fame on social media came from acting out skits of “insufferable” female character tropes in movies and television. Since then, she’s amassed three million followers on TikTok and one million followers on Instagram.
Comparatively, Novak has 1.2 million followers on Instagram. So, social media-wise, they’re pretty aligned.
That said, a lot of fans couldn’t help but bring up Novak’s rumored romance with Mindy Kaling. Though they’ve been friends for years and have worked together on projects like The Office, relationship speculation has been swirling for decades.
In fact, some people are convinced Novak is the father of Kaling’s three children, as she’s never revealed his identity to the public.

However, they’ve both shut down the frenzy many times. “He’s the godfather to my daughter. I see him every week,” she told CBS News in June 2019.
“It isn’t the thing that people sometimes think it is. He’s really part of my family now, which is great. Even though that’s less of a sexy characterization of our relationship, I think it’s a deeper and a closer one,” the actress, 45, added. “We do spend a lot of time together and it’s a great blessing in my life.”
Representatives for Novak and Rowe did not immediately respond to Parade’s request for comment.
