CLEVELAND — We have a winner! One very lucky lottery ticket sold in California just hit the Powerball jackpot worth $527 million from the drawing held on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The prize carries a cash option worth an estimated $243.8 million.

- $1 million prize: 1 winner
- $150,000 prize: 1 winner
- $300 prize: 30 winners
- $100 prize: 49 winners
- $21 prize: 801 winners
- $12 prize: 7,558 winners
- $7 prize: 1,618 winners
- $4 prize: 16,689 winners
The jackpot-winning ticket matched all of the following Powerball numbers: 7, 11, 21, 53, 61 and Powerball 2. The Power Play option was 3x.
Lottery officials say five players won Powerball Match 5/5 prizes worth $1 million, including a lucky player who bought their ticket at Emery Convenient Food Mart in Warrensville Heights. The rest of the $1 million prizes were won in Georgia, Oregon and Texas.
The jackpot now resets to $20 million for the next Powerball drawing, which is set for Monday, March 31 at 10:59 p.m. That prize has a cash option worth $9.3 million.
Powerball lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338, which is slightly better than the Mega Millions odds of one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball, meanwhile, are one in 11,688,053.52.
Northeast Ohio had a big Powerball winner in 2023 as one lucky ticket sold at a GetGo in Macedonia hit the jackpot worth $252.6 million during the April 19 drawing.
