The 47-19 Boston Celtics made the trip to Florida’s Kaseya Center to take on the 29-36 Miami Heat on Friday (March 14) night as they look to get back into the win column after dropping a game at their home arena of TD Garden this past Wednesday (March 12) evening. To spice things up a bit for a late season contest, we decided to shake up our format with a live recap, so check back often for updates.
The Celtics announced that star forward Jaylen Brown will join big man Kristaps Porzingis as out for the contest as Brown rests a sore knee and Porizingis continues to recuperate from an unknown viral illness.
The good news for Boston fans is that Brown’s costar on the wing, Jayson Tatum (also dealing with a sore knee), will join guard Derrick White (another in the balky knee clan) and veteran forward Al Horford (sore toe) as healthy for the contest against the Heat.
