Brand New returns for North American Tour; First tour in 7 years

Emo/Pop Punk band Brand New announced that they have reunited for their first tour in seven years.

Brand New officially announced a North American tour on their website starting on May 30th in Seattle, Washington. The band will perform in Pittsburgh on June 25, Cleveland on June 23, and Columbus on June 24.

After getting together for the first time this past December for a private show with family and friends, in March the band played three one off shows in in Texas, Kentucky and Tennessee.

In 2017, after releasing the album Science Fiction, Jesse Lacey, lead singer of Brand New, told the crowd that the band planned to break up.

A month later, allegations came out that Lacey asked an underage girl to send nude photos of herself, when Lacey was 24. Lacey also allegedly sent nude photos of himself in return to another female in exchange for nude photos.

Lacey apologized for his behavior and posted about the allegations on Facebook.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on April 2 at noon. Those wanting tickets will need to register for early access.
