The Pittsburgh Steelers’ Cam Heyward is bringing his podcast, “Not Just Football,” to Green Bay for a live taping during this year’s NFL Draft.
Hayward and his cohost, Hayden Walsh, will hold their live taping on Thursday, April 24, at The Terrace at Marina Circle.
Heyward, a 14-year NFL veteran, launched his podcast with Walsh in 2022. Since then, they’ve published more than 100 episodes, leveraging Heyward’s long career to give fans a peek behind the curtain at life in the NFL. A 2011 first-round pick, Heyward has been named an NFL All-Pro four times and has made the Pro Bowl seven times. That sparkling resume includes his excellent 2024 season, in which he made the All-Pro first team and earned a Pro Bowl bid with eight sacks. He even received votes for the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year Award after missing six games due to injury in 2023.
The live taping will include an appearance from Arik Armstead, who joined the Jacksonville Jaguars last season after spending the first eight years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. Armstead was the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year for 2024. Heyward has also won the award, having been named the Man of the Year in 2023.
NFL insider Charles Davis and Steelers’ sideline reporter Max Starks will also appear.
Tickets to the event are $20 and can be purchased here. Vox Media will donate proceeds from ticket sales to charities supporting youth and empowering growth.
Located on the Fox River, The Terrace at Marina Circle is only a few blocks from the NFL Draft complex surrounding Lambeau Field. If you happen to be in Green Bay for this year’s NFL Draft, this could be a great opportunity to get insider insight from someone who has not just played in the NFL, but has been among the very best in the league for a very long time.
