There is an evacuation order in place in Carroll County, Kentucky. Carrollton Mayor Robb Adams said that as of noon, 10 gates at Dix Dam along the Kentucky River were “accidentally opened.”You can watch his full statement here.He said he could not go into further detail on the gates being opened because of the nature of the emergency.Adams said water is rising, and a high-impact event is expected and should be taken as a life-threatening emergency.As a result, areas of Carroll County are under a mandatory evacuation order signed Sunday by Judge Executive Michael Humphrey.They are as follows:PrestonsvilleGreensbottomHappy HollowBlue LickLock Number 1 RoadLower Mason StreetCrews sent out may come to other areas telling residents to evacuate depending upon the level of flooding.“Do not ride it out.
