BOSTON — The Boston Celtics fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Wednesday’s marquee matchup at TD Garden, 118-112.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped a game-high 34 points to help OKC complete a 2-0 season sweep of Boston. Chet Holmgren (23 points, 15 rebounds) also enjoyed a big night for the No. 1 team in the West.

Jayson Tatum notched a team-high 33 points for the Celtics. Derrick White (22 points) and Al Horford (18 points) both made six 3-pointers. Boston attempted a franchise record 63 3s.
