Charles Barkley Makes Blunt Admission During Warriors Blowout

There were more than a few talking points during Wednesday’s Game 2 matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets

One of them was Alperen Sengun’s strong performance for the Rockets as the All-Star center helped lead his team to a crucial 109-94 victory to tie the series up at 1-1.

Sengun finished the game with 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting, 16 rebounds, seven assists two steals and one triple in another impressive showing from the 22-year-old.

At one point during the blowout, NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley shared his honest thoughts on Sengun and how the Rockets big man dominated down low in Game 2. Barkley is aware of the fact that Sengun is a special player, but the Hall of Famer had a blunt admission about the 6-foot-11 center’s athleticism.

“I have to admit, man… I didn’t know he was THAT athletic,” Barkley said. “He’s had a couple of dunks and spin moves that (have) been incredible.”

In the video above, Sengun busted out a couple of spin moves to power his way to the basket. He finished it off with a strong finish and an and-1 basket, leaving Barkley impressed and a little bit out of words.

This was a pivotal win for the Rockets, who have now tied the series at 1-1. Losing was not an option for them on Wednesday night after the Warriors stole away Game 1 at Toyota Center on Sunday.

This series is now deadlocked as it shifts to Golden State for Games 3 and 4. The Warriors and the Rockets go at it again at Chase Center on Saturday for Game 3.
