ATLANTA — Intense severe weather pushing into north Georgia has triggered multiple warnings, as portions of west Georgia and metro Atlanta remain under a tornado watch. 

The hazardous weather — which has left dozens dead throughout the Mid-South and southeast — has also caused scattered power outages.

Severe weather is anticipated to cross through the state overnight, with the line of storms expected to exit the metro around 3 a.m.
