TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Roads will be temporarily closed Saturday afternoon to accommodate a planned protest event.

According to the city of Toledo, the Toledo Persists protest will start at the TPS Administration building at 1609 N. Summit, with people marching across the Craig St. Bridge for a rally on Front St.

Protest-goers will then march back to TPS.

No detour will be established, but local traffic will be permitted as long as there are no safety problems.

Organizers are calling the protest “Hands Off! Toledo Fights Back”.

It will be one of hundreds of events around the country organized by liberal groups, to protest the actions of President Donald Trump and his advisor Elon Musk.
