Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson and college basketball star Haley Cavinder announced their engagement on Thursday.
Cavinder, who gained popularity alongside her twin sister Hanna during their college basketball careers, revealed the engagement on her social media.
A video of Cavinder, Ferguson and the engagement ring was posted to the Cavinder twins’ 4.6 million TikTok followers, as well as a picture of the engagement ring to Cavinder’s Instagram story.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2023 and announced their one-year anniversary last September on Cavinder’s social media.

Cavinder committed to transfer from Miami to TCU for the 2023-24 season, but never played a game for the Frogs and instead played her final season with Miami in 2024-25. The twins were among the top earners in NIL deals among college basketball players due to their social media presence.
Cavinder averaged 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists in her final college basketball season with the Hurricanes, capping a career that included three All-Mountain West and two All-ACC seasons.
