“I just returned it this morning,” Conover replied.
His costars seemed surprised, with Shep Rose saying, “Oh, woah,” and Austen Kroll asking, “Why didn’t you tell us?” Rose then joked, “Can I borrow a hundred bucks?”

The reality star couple, who met on the first season of Bravo’s Winter House, announced their split in December 2024 after three years of dating.
In early Januaary, Conover called their breakup “very, very unexpected.“
“I was very shocked,” he said on his Instagram Stories. “And it’s okay. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it.”
On a Monday, Dec. 30 episode of her podcast Giggly Squad DeSorbo shared that she and Conover “have decided to no longer be together.”
“It’s weird, it’s very weird. I wasn’t expecting this,” she told podcast co-host Hannah Berner. “Obviously, when we first started dating, you don’t think, ‘Oh, what will happen? Will we get married, will we not?’ You’re just kind of like, in this relationship.”

During the season 10 Southern Charm reunion on March 27, Conover said he didn’t notice any red flags in their relationship. “When we were together in private is what I based our relationship off of, and there weren’t signs,” he said.
Cohen, who hosted the reunion, asked Conover why he didn’t address the breakup when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live in mid-December if it happened just after Thanksgiving. The reality star responded that at that point, he didn’t think the breakup “was real.”
“This isn’t like a, we broke up and it was over and I moved on with my life. We had been planning our life together for three years and she fantasized about the family and stuff,” he explained. “And so yes, I had been in a weird place throughout December for which we continued to talk throughout December.”
