Daredevil: Born Again Mid-Season Trailer Released for MCU Show

Charlie Cox‘s Matt Murdock embraces his true self in the mid-season trailer for Daredevil: Born Again.

Marvel Television has released a new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, featuring new footage of Murdock finding himself in the middle of a bank robbery. Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) co-narrate the mid-season trailer as their respective characters, which sees both struggling with the darkness lurking inside of them. The Punisher, Bullseye, and Muse are also featured in the trailer, which ends with the iconic Daredevil vs. Bullseye fight from the series premiere.

At the time of writing, four episodes of Daredevil: Born Again have been released, with five to go. The next two will be released on Tuesday, March 25, marking the second time this season that Marvel and Disney+ have released two episodes at once after the series premiere.

The synopsis for Born Again Season 1 reads as follows: “In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”

Unlike most Marvel Cinematic Universe series on Disney+, Daredevil: Born Again will receive a second season, which has already begun filming. While plot details for Season 2 remain under wraps, set photos suggest that Mayor Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force will play a major role. Deborah Ann Woll has also been spotted on set, hinting at a larger role for her character Karen Page in Born Again Season 2. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, one less than Marvel originally announced for the Disney+ continuation.
