Dateline special on WRAL: NBC’s interview with mom who murdered two kids

A Dateline episode airing Friday on NBC/WRAL features the first-ever television interview with a convicted killer known as “Mommy Doomsday.”

“Lori Vallow Daybell: The Jailhouse Interview,” will air on WRAL-TV at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 7.

Lori Vallow Daybell is serving life in prison without parole after she and her husband Chad Daybell were found guilty of murdering her children, JJ and Tylee. The children were last seen alive in 2019, and their remains were discovered in 2020.

In an interview with NBC’s Keith Morrison, Lori Daybell maintained her innocence, saying, “I will be exonerated. We will both be exonerated in the future.”

The episode also features interviews Lori Daybell’s brother. Retired FBI agent, detectives and officers who worked the case were also interviewed.
