The Golden State Warriors are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the struggling New Orleans Pelicans.
Golden State enters Friday’s contest amid a two-game losing streak but they have won seven of their last 10 games.

They will now look to bounce back after Tuesday’s loss to the Miami Heat in Jimmy Butler’s return to Miami as they face off against a Pelicans team that has dropped seven of their last 10 games as their terrible season continues.
Of course, the headliner for Friday’s game for the Warriors is the health of their superstar point guard Stephen Curry as he continues to recover from a pelvic contusion that he suffered last week against the Toronto Raptors.
Curry is listed as questionable for Friday’s game and looks as though he could make his return from a two-game absence after going through a team scrimmage during Thursday’s practice.
The Warriors have struggled in their two games without Curry and his return would be a major one with Golden State having fallen to seventh in the Western Conference standings and into a Play-In spot.

Golden State has also ruled out Gary Payton II for Friday’s game as he is set to miss time due to a torn ligament in his left thumb.

On the other side, the Pelicans will be extremely shorthanded as their roster has been decimated by injuries the entire season.
New Orleans has listed six players on their injury report for Friday and it is headlined by Zion Williamson, who has been ruled out due to a back injury.
This will be the fourth consecutive absence for Williamson as the Pelicans continue to be cautious with him due to his injury history and them already being eliminated from the playoffs.
New Orleans has also ruled out Trey Murphy III, Herbert Jones, Dejounte Murray, Brandon Boston Jr., and C.J. McCollum for Friday’s game.
Fans can catch Friday’s matchup between the Warriors and Pelicans at 8:00 p.m. EST.
