Predator: Badlands, Dan Trachtenberg’s highly anticipated next live-action entry into the Predator universe, gets a first teaser and poster today from 20th Century Studios.

Opening exclusively in theaters and IMAX on November 7, Predator: Badlands stars Elle Fanning (The Neon Demon, the upcoming Death Stranding 2: On the Beach) and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatang (The Panthers, Red, White & Brass).

 As previously reported, Predator: Badlands will put the notorious extraterrestrial in a protagonist role, following:

…a young Predator (Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, [who] finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.

Predator: Badlands is produced by John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, Brent O’Connor.

Released in 2022, Trachtenberg’s Prey was a huge hit even with no theatrical release, resurrecting the Predator franchise and racking up six Emmy Award nominations.

Predator fans are feasting at the moment, with Trachtenberg’s animated anthology Predator: Killer of Killers also right around the corner from its June release date.
