JoJo Tugler — arguably Houston’s most versatile defender, with his 7-foot-6 wingspan — picks up a critical second personal foul with 10:18 left until halftime, and that could be a biggie for the Coogs. Tugler’s length has been critical to Houston forcing an almost four-minute scoreless streak for Florida, which is clearly bothered by UH’s length and physicality.

Not that Kelvin Sampson doesn’t have other bigs he can turn to, but Tugler is maybe his best, and has his fingerprints all over this game already.
