Our long, national nightmare is over as the Twins have won not one, but two whole games heading into the home opener. The bats woke up, Pablo and the bullpen pitched well, and here we are. All it took was a little magic from the worst team in baseball history.

Things won’t be as easy against the Astros, though their offense has also struggled to start the season. They currently have one hitter with an OPS over .600 (Jose Altuve), while their pitching has torn up opponents through five games. Defensively, their outfield consists of Altuve (who never played the outfield at any level prior to this year), rookie Cam Smith (who played a grand total of 3 games in the outfield in college), and Jake Meyers (a good defender!). With their grounder-heavy pitching, they prioritized infield defense and shoved their bad defenders in the outfield corners. The Twins need to get the ball in the air, even more than usual!
