Hailey Van Lith‘s illustrious career ended in the Elite Eight.
The point guard scored 17 points, but it was not enough as No. 2 seed TCU was knocked out of the women’s NCAA Tournament by No. 1 Texas 58-47 on Monday at the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.

Van Lith was the Big 12 Player of the Year, Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, First-team All-Big 12 and Big 12 tournament Most Outstanding Player this season. She, however, struggled against the Longhorns, finishing 3 of 15 shots from the field and turning the ball over seven times. The finalist for Naismith and an All-American after transferring in from LSU, she finished with eight rebounds.
The point guard reached the Elite Eight all five years of her collegiate career with Louisville, LSU and TCU. Here’s how Van Lith performed in her final collegiate game:
