A nationwide day of protest is being planned by a group called “Hands Off!” with hundreds of rallies set for Saturday, April 5.

The rallies are protesting policy actions by the Trump administration and DOGE such as the shuttering of Social Security offices and firing of federal workers.

Where are April 5 ‘Hands Off!’ protests in Lower Hudson Valley?

National Day of Action protests are slated for the following locations in Westchester and Rockland:

  • Mamaroneck – Harbor Island Park, Fenimore Road & West Boston Post Road
  • Mount Kisco – Mt. Kisco Train Station, 1 Kirby Plaza
  • Hastings-on-Hudson – VFW Plaza, Warburton Ave & Spring St.,
  • Nanuet – Four Corners, New York 59 & North Middletown Road
  • Stony Point – In front of the Patriot’s Monument, 29 S Liberty Dr (Route 9W)
